Your itinerary

Good company, beautiful countryside and a day full of delicious discoveries. Our North West Tasmania food and wine tour brings together five distinctive stops, from raspberry sparkling and orchard cider to craft beer, vineyard dining and locally made spirits. Settle in, enjoy the scenery and let our local team take care of the driving.

Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm: a sparkling start

Your day begins at Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm near Deloraine, where a welcome glass of raspberry sparkling sets the tone for the adventure ahead.

This much-loved stop celebrates one of Tasmania’s signature fruits in a charming country setting. It’s a refreshing introduction to the region’s produce and a chance to settle into the day with your fellow travellers before we continue towards the North West Coast.

Spreyton Cider: a taste of the orchard

Next, we visit Spreyton Cider, where the cellar door sits beside the orchard and the connection between fruit and glass is close at hand.

Enjoy six samples across the cider and ginger beer selection, exploring different flavours and finding your favourite. Your visit also includes a drink to enjoy at the venue or a stubbie to take away.

With its orchard setting and locally made drinks, Spreyton offers a delicious taste of Tasmania’s apple-growing country.

Empress Craft Beer: discover your next favourite

Our journey continues to Empress Craft Beer in Devonport, a welcoming bar with a broad selection of brews from Tasmania, mainland Australia and further afield.

Your tour includes five craft beer tastings, giving you the opportunity to compare styles and try something you might not usually order. Whether you already love craft beer or are simply curious, this stop adds a different flavour to the day.

Ghost Rock Vineyard: wine, lunch and coastal views

At Ghost Rock Vineyard, the focus turns to cool-climate wines and a gourmet lunch overlooking the vines, with views across the countryside towards Bass Strait.

Enjoy five wine tastings, then settle in for your included lunch and glass of wine. The cellar door and eatery bring together local produce, estate-grown wines and a setting that invites you to savour the experience.

It’s a highlight of our North West Tasmania food and wine tour, with time around the table to compare discoveries and enjoy the company of your group.

Red Brick Road Cider: a flavour-filled finale

Our final stop takes us to Red Brick Road Cider in Deloraine, in the picturesque Meander Valley. This local ciderworks and distillery showcases naturally fermented cider and spirits made using local fruit.

Your experience includes six tastings from the tap selection and a gin tasting, rounding out the day with another distinctive Tasmanian producer.

From the first glass of raspberry sparkling to this final tasting, you’ll have explored a generous variety of flavours, places and local craftsmanship—with all the driving taken care of.

Minimum group of 4 for the tour to commence. The above tour is subject to the availability of accommodation premises and restaurants for the required period. See terms and conditions for more information.
