Luxury Golf & Scenic Tours Tasmania – Terms & Conditions
Effective from 12 August 2025
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Luxury Golf & Scenic Tours Tasmania (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a service with us, you (“you”, “your”, “the customer”) agree to these conditions on behalf of all persons listed in the booking.
1. Booking Confirmation
Provisional Bookings: All bookings are provisional until we confirm them in writing within 48 hours of your request. This allows us to secure all third-party services such as accommodation, golf courses, attractions, and transport.
Do Not Book Flights Yet: Please do not purchase flights or make non-refundable arrangements until you receive our written confirmation.
If We Cannot Confirm: Should we be unable to secure your booking as requested, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid.
2. Deposits & Final Payments
We operate two divisions – Tours and Transfers – each with separate payment schedules.
2.1 Tours
- Deposit: 20% of the total booking cost is required to secure your tour.
- Final Balance: 80% balance is due 60 days prior to the first day of the tour.
- Late Bookings: If your booking is made within 60 days of tour commencement, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2.2 Transfers
- Deposit: 20% of the total booking cost is required to secure your transfer.
- Final Balance: Due 7 days prior to the date of the transfer.
- Late Bookings: If your booking is made within 7 days of the transfer date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3. Prices & Availability
- All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are subject to change until your booking is confirmed in writing.
- Pricing may vary due to supplier rate changes, currency fluctuations, or changes in taxes and charges beyond our control.
4. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
4.1 Cancellations by You
- Tours: If cancelled within 60 days of commencement, the 20% deposit is forfeited in full, in addition to any supplier fees that may apply.
- Transfers: If cancelled within 7 days of travel, the 20% deposit is forfeited in full, in addition to any supplier fees that may apply.
- Transfer Group Size Changes: If the number of passengers decreases within 7 days of travel, you will still be charged for the original number of passengers booked. This is because vehicles, drivers, and trailers are allocated in advance based on your original booking.
4.2 Cancellations by Us
- We reserve the right to cancel a tour or transfer due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., supplier unavailability, safety concerns, extreme weather).
- If we cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
- We are not responsible for costs associated with flights, insurance, or other arrangements made independently of us.
5. Changes to Itineraries
We make every effort to deliver the itinerary as booked. However, changes may occur due to operational needs, supplier availability, or unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to:
- Substitute equivalent or higher standard accommodation, attractions, or golf courses.
- Alter the order of activities or travel dates if required.
6. Payment Methods & Fees
Payments may be made via bank transfer or credit card.
Credit Card Payments: Merchant fees will be displayed at the checkout process and may vary depending on the currency and country of payment. Merchant fees are non-refundable.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover cancellations, delays, medical expenses, loss of belongings, and other unforeseen events. This is especially important for multi-day tours.
8. Responsibilities & Liabilities
- We act as an agent for independent suppliers (e.g., hotels, golf courses, transport providers). We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or expense caused by the acts or omissions of these suppliers.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
9. Additional Terms
- Baggage limits apply; generally, one large suitcase and one set of golf clubs per person for tours.
- You are responsible for meeting all visa, health, and entry requirements for your travel.
- If your behaviour adversely affects other passengers or the operation of the tour/transfer, we reserve the right to remove you without refund.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, or accidents.
